Looked everywhere for a paperclip somewhere around the toolbar and couldn't find it.What program are you using?
There should be a paper clip somewhere on the toolbar of the e-mail program. Or it says "Attach" or "Attachment"
Click on that and it will open a window where you can find the file. Go to the directory where the file is located and click on "Save"
It is a small attachment and i know it doesn't contain a virus. Don't know yet about zipping, still working on sending.what type of attachment is it? many antiviruses/email server gateways might deny certain type of attachments (like .exe files, because they could be viruses) and also the attachment might be too big
in both cases you normally get an email back telling you that the email was blocked for whatever reason
If its a .exe and you are sure its not a virus just zip it and email it
Thanks a lot. You are right . The snail mail got there first. Someone mailed it through the mail and it arrived before i could figure it out. Was out of town for two days and just got this. I appreciate it and am going to work on it, problem is i never have any of these things everyone else has, paperclips, attach on the toolbar etc. Will work on it or just tell this other idiot, besides myself to not send me any more attachments to forward.. Thanks AGAIN.http://email.about.com/cs/yahoomailtips/qt/et101801.htm
make sure you follow the instructions exactly, wild guess you are not clicking on 'attach' , the limit on attachments is 10 megs (Which is quite more than you would normally need for a picture or even a 4 minute mp3 song)
right click on the file you want to send and select properties and check the size to make sure its under 10 megs
