Even though I don't like him, it is still WAY too early to make a judgement on his career. In three years, you can tell me what you think, but right now, he is learning and growing on a mediocre team. They trade place and Ben 14-letters wouldn't be in any better boat.

Eli looked pretty good to me ! 16-23, 2 td's and 1 Int which could have been called pass Interference but was really a poor call IMO. With plenty of time on the clock, why do the Giants need to go for a hail Mary downfield ? Stupid play calling plus poor defense did the Giants in this time. Eli will turn out ok I believe. We must remember that He has only played in his 5 th. game and He did very well against the number 1 defense in the league.

What weaker defenses did he play? He has played against all top-10 defenses.

Atl and Phi are 12 & 13, and Philly's defensive stats are a bit inflated as their offense is on the field so much and they're generally well ahead.

Pitt is #1 team defense, so unless there was a five way tie, Eli's been playing weaker defenses than he faced this afternoon.

The average TOP for Pittsburgh's oppenents is 26:13

So I don't buy into the overinflation theory about the Eagle's D, at least not on the grounds that their offense is on the field so much and they're generally well ahead. That theory applies better to Pittsburgh.

At the time he played them, they were in the top-10, but I get your point. Carolina had no problem with the Atlanta D tonight.
