I said it earlier and I still think it is true. If Colts don't beat Patriots and they didn't.... I think the best chance to beat Patriots will be when Patriots travel to Giants in game number 16. I don't see them losing any of their 2 other road games at Buffalo or at Baltimore. They have 3 home games that should not be a real problem in Miami, Jets and Philly but perhaps Pitt might challenge them. I predict 15-0 going into the Giant game... Of course I am usually wrong ! Any thoughts ?

NFL Network has 2 great games this year.

Cowboys -Packers
and Pats -Giants (if pats are still trying to go 16-0)

Bryant Gumbel behind the mic as pats go for history:ohno:

The Steelers visit Foxboro on December 9th. IMO that will be no gimme for the Pats.. Right now they need to make sure they end up the season with no worse than an identical record with the Colts even if it means going 15-1 to secure home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. The Steelers sitting at 5-2 have a pretty easy schedule to finish the season.

Steelers remaining sachedule:

Mon 11/5 Baltimore 8:30 pm
Sun 11/11 Cleveland 1:00 pm
Sun 11/18 at NY Jets 4:05 pm
Mon 11/26 Miami 8:30 pm
Sun 12/2 Cincinnati 8:15 pm
Sun 12/9 at New England 1:00 pm
Sun 12/16 Jacksonville 1:00 pm
Thu 12/20 at St. Louis 8:15 pm
Sun 12/30 at Baltimore 1:00 pm

Unless the Browns are for real and somehow knock off the Steelers next week in Pittsburg (long shot) the Steelers beating the Pats next month could force the Pats into going 15-1 to win home field advantage in the AFC playoffs. The rest of the Steeler schedule is sweepable. They finish either 14-2 or 13-3 come January.

Pats schedule:

Bye
Sun 11/18 at Buffalo 1:00 pm
Sun 11/25 Philadelphia 8:15 pm
Mon 12/3 at Baltimore 8:30 pm
Sun 12/9 Pittsburgh 1:00 pm
Sun 12/16 NY Jets 1:00 pm
Sun 12/23 Miami 1:00 pm
Sat 12/29 at NY Giants 8:15 pm

The Giants game will mean somthing only if it effects where the Pats play all their playoff games. Going undefeated is nice but the real goal is the Super Bowl Trophy. The key game the Pats have remaining is for AFC playoff positioning which will be the Steelers game if both teams win out until Dec 9th. Even with the Giants the rest of the schedule is sweepable also. Pats finish either 16-0 or 15-1 come January.

Colts remaining schedule:

Sun 11/11 at San Diego 8:15 pm
Sun 11/18 Kansas City 1:00 pm
Thu 11/22 at Atlanta 8:15 pm
Sun 12/2 Jacksonville 1:00 pm
Sun 12/9 at Baltimore 8:15 pm
Sun 12/16 at Oakland 4:05 pm
Sun 12/23 Houston 1:00 pm
Sun 12/30 Tennessee 1:00 pm

Despite the Charger's hard to explain loss today at Minnesota they still could knock off the Colts in San Diego next Sunday which would make life a lot easier on the Pats. The rest of the schedule looks like all W's for Indy. Either 15-1 or 14-2 come January.

Pats obviously win tiebreaker if they end up tied with Colts. A win over Pittsburg and it's Kitty bar the Door.

Bellichick will not be resting regulars for Giants even if they have home field all wrapped up if they are 15-0. Besides how did resting the regulars turn out for the Colts a few years ago ?

Pitt is the scariest game IMO, they are up and down and have the potential to challenge the pats

I have seen an early line on this game and it was Patriots -9. It would not be the biggest upset ever IMHO. Also you have to believe that there would be a lot of extra pressure on the Pats and it's on the road !

The Steeler game is the hardest test left on the Pats schedule. That game will see some fur flying no doubt.

Give me the Steelers over the Giants on a neutral field anyday, even though I am an old Giants fan and hope they win the NFC this year somehow. I hate the Steelers only an iota less than I do the Colts.

Although you very well might be correct, it is obvious by the betting lines that the bettors think the game 16 at New York will be their biggest test as -13 against -9 at Giants home field. I just can't see the Patriots losing at home this year. I will be interested in what the new lines on these two games will be but they have been taken down until Tuesday I would think.

I just left the L.V. Hilton and these two games still remain the same.
Pats by 13 over Steelers at home and Pats by 9 at Giants.
PS They will probably lose to Miami at home. :lol:Also AFC is favored by 16 1/2 in Super Bowl and I expect it just might go higher.
