in my fantasy league. starting lineups for the week due when the week kicks off in about 90 minutes.

anyone heard anything one way or another on his playing status?

As far as I can see, edge is going to play, how much? good question.

Only questionable is what ive heard and read.
If James is unable to play, Ricky Williams will make his first NFL start.

I have the same dilemma. I'm considering it like he's out. If you have any other reasonable options, go with them.

I also have Daunte, and I'm going with Couch for the guaranteed player. Of course my deadline is noon, so I have to decide soon.

if edge sits - i gotta play (f)uckhalter on the eagles - so if james sits and (f)uckhalter plays - they still would get the same amount of points probably

I would err on the side of caution with Edge.

In addition, Dominic Rhodes looks like he may return for the Colts for the first time in over a year. However, he likely won't play much.

Same thing happend last year when Edge sat out but decision reached at gametime-I have edge and oicked up Mungro just in case. IF you have another option might want to use it

general - you are sooooo right.

this week we have gotten soooooooo lucky so far.

we started:

couch
betts
buckhalter
moss

and so far all 4 have at least 1 td

we are going against jeff blake - who so far - hasn't done squat, the jags d who is not scoring too many points against houston and hines ward - who so far - hasnt done much

HOWEVER

there is still 30 minutes left of football in most games - so...................
