PL Strategy: The gist of the PL strategy is to FADE the bottom 3 teams in a 4 game chase system. For the four game system the following units are risked starting with Game 1 (1,2,3,6) You can double if you wish. Playing the PL gives us a high rate of plus money wagers. If the bottom teams we are fading face each other its a NO PLAY. When the teams we are Fading is a FAVORITE, we still play their opponent on the ML which is still going to be +$ mojority of the time. Follow if you wish, please post POSITIVE COMMENTS ONLY. This is the second year of recording this system, last year system record was;
100-142 (+$5,049)
Game 1 plays went 49-66 (+$1,056)
Game 2 plays went 27-38 (+$2,186)
Game 3 plays went 13-24 (-$803)
Game 4 plays went 11-14 (+$2,610)

The only change that I'm making this year is heading into the All-star break I will end fades when there are no longer enough possible plays before the break to finish a possible 4 game chase. Same thing with ending the system.

I am asuming you were doubling your bets to make a profit? If you bet game 1, 2 , 3 and 4 the same it wouldn't have been profitable? Correct me if I am wrong

Per his post above he plays 1,2,3,6 for units

@Bart_ : I simply use ESPN's Overall Rankings. I believe their standings is by points.

@Olim : As cwin32 said GM1:1U, GM2:2U, GM3:3U, GM4:6U --- I do this because with the puck lines payouts plus money we aren't risking more than we wager met of the time. I was debating on going to the doubling theory, but Im going to stick with this way for now as it's only the second season of tracking.

Do you update the teams you fade every week with the new rankings? If so, how do you handle open chases?

CWin- always close out a chase even if they win their way out of the bottom 3. Either the play will hit and they're out or they win through the last game of the series

That's fine, Im over there as well but don't have the time to do more than one so I ended up doing it here.
