I might also add that there's nothing more idiotic than a person that uses a static example to explain how we could obtain additional tax revenue. People do change behavior based on taxation (another reasoning flaw that Liberal thinking doesn't allow)

Two things

1. You are posting on a gambling forum's political section..... your time is already wasted

2. This video has already been posted. Same shit, different day

Two things

1. I don't consider it a waste of time to educate anyone with an open mind regardless of where they are reading it (I never saw the video and I'm guessing there are others that haven't seen it also)

2. It is a waste of time to converse with someone that brings nothing to the table in just about every topic other than his childish barbs (might just have to call you V-II). If you have something mature to say about the subject matter of the video, than grow up and say it. Otherwise, run away like you usually do.

THis is clearly a propaganda piece because he is setting up a clearly unrealistic and unnecessary scenario to support his slanted message

He starts from 0 as opposed to where he should. The government at this point is collecting about 2.3 trillion in revenues so to balance the budget they "only" have to come up with another 1.4 NOT 3.7 Noone is talking about confiscating anything.

And ending the Bush tax cuts ( this video surfaced when there was a chance Obama might not extend them) is hardly "eating the rich"

The Teteprompter of the US proposed what he called "Warren KFC Buffett" rule in his 2013 budget, folks who make more than $1 mil a year will be taxed @30%.

Of course we know this is a non story. Anyone who is new to politic in the last 3 yrs would have known this is a tired and boring Obamba's class warfare game in the election year. Once he re-elected, the first thing he would do is to extend tax break for super wealthy....for the third time. Obama is Bush, Bush is Obama, when it comes to super rich, their tax policies are identical, and that's a fact.

And I believe I already covered your "static" explanation on how ending the Bush tax cuts would not solve this problem (you must have missed the 2nd post).

Starting from zero would actually be a good thing. I'm all in favor of zero based budgeting. We shouldn't be saying we are reducing spending just because we're not spending as much as we budgeted for. Sounds like my wife when we get done shopping and she tells me how much money we saved. Somehow, seeing the money leave our checking account doesn't convince me that we've saved anything.

Ending the tax cuts would not solve the problem but would get us closer. Cutting the military spending in half would get us even closer.

And if unemployement ever goes down the 5 percent we would almost be there.

According to Rand Paul, when he was on the Daily Show last time, he said that if we would go back to Clinton era levels the budget would be balanced.

Fine by me.

Ahh yes....the Daily Show (a wonderful source of misinformation brought to you by the Liberals favorite comedian). And as mentioned again in post #2, Mr Daily uses a static example as do most Liberal sources. I can cite you the version in the NY Times which would agree with you or I can cite you the version in the Washington Times, which would agree with me (and I'm sure there are sources on both sides that will argue until they are blue in the face) and that includes the non-partisan sources. I don't for a second believe that using a static example proves a thing as people will change their behavior based on taxes (so why waste time arguing about it...it's nothing but conjecture). Rand Paul is also referring to spending ...something this current President doesn't know how not to do.

Clinton-era budgets would make it difficult to keep up the proper pace of killing brown people with our military weaponry

Just so you know...BFL is a known clown. He is a union hating obama basher. Besides when he is sucking up to willie on a daily basis that's all his threads provide.

He completely ignores what rand paul says by taking a shot at the daily show. Stewart routinely shows repubs and fox news as hypocrites and liars and that upsets BFL.

Trust me....you are wasting your time giving BFL facts...he is in his own pathetic world. You are getting close to being put on ignore by him....that's his move when somebody makes him look foolish.
