NEITHER one. This game will be postponed until November 6th. Hurricane Ivan is on a direct course with the state of Alabama, and Auburn University has already cancelled classes for the rest of the week.

Oh well, I suppose Florida-Tennessee will have to do.

Pete,it's looking more the case day-by-day, as the travel logistics for both school's fans this game, are shaping up as nightmare on the heels of Ivan's current path.

Helps LSU's youth buy more time to gain their sealegs by November, and eases their road gauntlet in coming weeks a bit, but puts Auburn in mean three game stretch late in season.

Reminds me of the 9-11 postponement from '01, and has become the SEC-West's best rivalry for a majority of the last ten years.

La, Miss, Ala, and Ga schools all potentially affected for this Sat?

Auburn will be giving 12 instead of 3 in the rematch.

GREAT!

Since you have been so vocal regarding your disdain for the LSU program, why don't you and I have a side wager.....I'll take LSU +12.

As of tonight, the game is still going to be played.

A decision, if the game will be postponed, will come tomorrow night from Auburn.

Rail, buddy I must agree with the fellas here, give LSU's Russell & cast more time to develop, and I will help you fill-up all the Auburn -10 you want, if played Nov-6th.

Saban teams have improved dramatically late in the season for all four of his years at LSU, yet negatively his squads have also had at least one no-show per season(just as with his MSU stint). However you are on to something, as this series usually hasn't been close in scoring margin the last decade for the winning squad.

I do favor Auburn if it is played this Saturday though.

Tommy T. said if we have electricity we are going to play.. Yes school was canceled but the football players were told to stay. The game has a slight chance of being move to SUNDAY if being moved at all!!!!!!!!!

Game on! Auburn wins at home against non-road-tested underclassman LSU QB.

HALE YES!!!

I absolutely LOVE LSU in this spot. Auburn has looked GREAT against weak competition. I know LSU hasn't shown any signs of being the team they were last year, but to bet on them continuing in this vein would be STUPID. Jason Campbell is NOT a good QB for Auburn and that is something that hasn't changed in three years....he actually sucks. So, if you bet on Auburn, you're hoping that their RB's run wild.....against LSU. Defensively, Auburn has a TERRIBLE pass rush, so don't expect to see them get ANY pressure with their front four. I'm certain you will see them commit extra people to stop the run first.....and they'll get BURNED doing it. Which brings me to their DB's......they can not match up with LSU's rceivers man-to-man.

I also like the OVER in the game.

I will be surprised if LSU gets anything over 24 points.
