It's early, but this is what I expect for the Super Bowl lines:

New England -2.5 -120 (55)
Pittsburgh +1.5 (56)

Extremely impressive performance from the Falcons and it should be reflected in the Super Bowl line (and total).

New England is looking great so line is likely to move to 3. Maybe 3.5 if New England really lowers the boom on Pittsburgh the rest of the way (though that is unlikely).

BetOnline had lines up a couple of hours ago as I already got down on the Super Bowl. The lines were:

Atlanta -2 vs Pittsburgh

New England -2.5 vs Atlanta

Touchdown, New England.

To -3.5 it goes.

If it doesn't, you know what to do.

8 of the 10 post season games have been decided by 13+ points.
Number won't matter.

Do you guys think those who like Atlanta should wait or just hammer ATL now? Hard to tell because Pats are the usual team targeted by majority of recreational bettors but ATL being the scoring machine may attract even more

suprised they are putting up a 3. Stupid. Game is most bet on all year and if it is 3 and lands on 3 they make zero dollars on the side

Maybe that's their plan. I read an article awhile ago talking about the books exposure to the Superbowl (being the most bet on etc.). Maybe this way they figure its split that they can't set a line which they can confidently back. Atleast this way they have (in a sense) decreased their exposure with a 'push-hedge'.

Just looking for opinions/thoughts from those with more experience.. I know it's a bit of guess work at the moment. But which direction would you expect the line to move? I'm guessing ATL will get hammered?
