Some of you may have missed it in the news, but Hooter's (yes, that Hooter's) and Dan Marino (yes, that Dan Marino) have teamed up and the unremarkable San Remo hotel (across from the MGM Grand) will be transformed into the Hooter's hotel and casino. No word yet if the kicker from Ace Ventura will be at the grand opening.

I was surprised to see that HOOTERS had set up shop inside SUNSET CASINO.

Very nice layout.

It kinda seems silly in this city with T & A all-around that the cheesy Hooters would make a run for it. But then again, think of all the golly-gee Midwesterners that would be gawking at the Hooters girls and would never step inside a strip joint with Ma in tow.
Hooters has become pretty mainstream and outside of a few Bible belt counties it is accepted with a wink and a nod these days nationwide.

It looks like this San Remo property has come full circle.

When I first moved here to Vegas 25 years ago it was called the Paradise, and then changed to "The Treasury" a few years later.

What I remember most about this hotel, is the parking lot in front. They had life sized statues of scantilly clad showgirls mounted on top of all the light posts.

If somebody saved those old plastic statues, Hooters could put 'em back up.

It was real tacky, but very Vegas.

Good point about the people that would come to town with Mom and still get to see some clevage at the casino/restaurant without the real working girls needing involved.
