i like his bc and sask picks. but if lumsden plays hamilton can win i think and i honestly believe winnipeg will beat calgary. there will be so much desperation and calgary is due for one of their usual road letdowns ( last year vs hamilton comes to mind )

Edmonton/Hamilton should be much more high scoring than that. 43 points with the two weakest defensive teams in the league? I'm not saying it will go over 52 easily, but 43 seems way too low.

Very interesting thought on the Calgary-Winnipeg matchup this coming week Casey. Made a good point regarding the Stampeder road woes at times and the Bombers will win a game at some point, probably at home. However this week?

As much as I think Schultz is a good personality, and good on-camera, I would not put much into these picks. The guy picks the favourite 95% of the time, ignores the spreads, and really does not analyze the games that well.

your right. last year i think he beat " The World " by 1 pick. the year before about the same. your right he is a good analyst during the games and what not but he is not exactly giving us anything that the rest of Canada doesnt think already it seems.

I cannot help but fully agree though if the game or the line on a particular game is close or with a field goal and he picks one team either way to win by 10+ for example, it can force your lean that way somewhat. Afterall the guy does know football and he does have reasons for his predictions.
His record todate is 10-6, while the world is 7-9.

Schultz - :nohead:

You should track his plays & post his record ATS as the year goes on, right now he has every favorite covering this week. Which could happen it sort of happened last week if you went by opening lines.

I am surprised toronto rose a few spots - i guess it is a result of hamilton and montreal dropping - but really Toronto should have lost the to the worst team in the west when playing at home!

That would be a real test of his abilities.

What a surprise all favorites as usual. He is decent at picking who will win games but if you check his ATS record every year and fade it (based on his predicted scores) you will be up units for sure.

Schultz went 1-2-1 last week as he had Edmonton losing by two but we will give the benefit of the opening line and give him a push.

His YTD record ATS ---> 2-9.

Bad news for Ticat & Mont fans he is on your band wagon, here are his week 7 picks.

Ham 26-25 ---> line is Winn -3.5....road dog winning SU

Mon 24-19 ---> line is Mont -3.5 down to -3 now...Road Fav winning and covering.

His write up on the Als/Argos game actually suggests that the Argos should win yet he has the projected score with the Als on top. I have seen him make a typo before I believe I wonder if he meant to take the Argos because I dont know what he means by the last line of the write up saying something like they will play like they did against the Bombers two weeks ago or whatever

Toronto didn't play well against the Bombers two weeks ago. They were just lucky they got a punt return and that Dinwoodie(sp) sucks.

With that said I'll be on them ML this week, as well as the Ti-Cats ML.

With how CFL as went so far this season the obvious doesnt make sense at all so both dogs should win outright...:ohno:

Just hoping at least one does for a profit. Both games are pretty much toss ups IMO.

Any reason why you like both dogs outright because I have watched every game all season by every team and nothing tells me what you may see (other than maybe Hamilton winning) ??

No opinion as of yet on the Als-Not game, but I do think the Bombers get the job done this week at home, their second consecutive game on home turf against the visiting Hamilton Tiger Cats. Coming off an embarrassing, and I mean absolutely embarrassing thrashing at home last week against Montreal, I believe Winnipeg will be much better fine tuned for a visiting Tiger Cat team, that finally won a game against, well maybe the worst of the four Eastern teams in reality.

Schultz got the split but was penalised for backing the CATS otr.

YTD he is now 3-10 ATS

He made it difficult on us this week as he put both games right on the Spread.

SASK 27 ED 30

CGY 28 BC 31

I guess he is paying closer attention to the spreads.....So lets just say he is backing the home teams! Looks like he'll get another 1-1.
