speed kills OSU and Penn State will be the second fastest team OSU will face this season. The fastest? USC. Ohio State is not dominant in the Horseshoe. Penn State by a TD or so.

Public in every other forum and on sportsinsights love PSU however, on this forum its seems as though everyone is on the Bucks. OH-IO by a field goal at the shoe.

Well, last year in Happy Valley, Ohio State looked like the faster, more athletic team by far and both these teams have nearly the same personnel as last year. And keep in mind that Ohio State doesn't have to be dominant in the Horseshoe here. If they win, they cover.

No way Penn State has same team as last year. The quarterback for Penn State last year was garbage. Quarterback is the big difference from last year.

I'm having such a difficult time making a decision on this game. My lean right now is towards Ohio St., because they tend to handle Big Ten matchups quite well.

I like O St. But I think its going to come down to whoever commits the fewest turnovers. Take the UNDER

PSU is the better team and they should win. I was nervous when I seen the line open at -1, but now has moved up to -2.5. I assume this line will hit -3 or so hence eliminating the "sucker" play. Maybe even hit 3.5. PSU will beat this team by double digits. Do you honestly want to gamble your money on a indecisive freshman QB? Not me. This PSU will give this youngen troubles all night.

No, but i surely don't mind putting my money on the team better in the trenches w/ homefield advantage, and that is Ohio State.

Try again...PSU is better along both lines...at qb...at wr....

Homefield certainly looms large here though....

Have you seen Royster play? Looks every bit as good as Beanie and man does he have a burst. I've seen Penn St. play 3 times this year and I was very impressed with him.

When I look at this game there is not one area on offense where Ohio St. is better than the Lions. They have a better defense but not by much. I haven't put anything on the game but I think PSU covers. I think people are putting too much into the Spartan melt down last week. Ohio St. will still be suspect to elite teams IMO not to mention good spread offenses.

It will be a slug fest until the 2nd half and in the 4th quarter the Lions offense pulls away.

Maybe I'm wrong but either way this will be a great game!

I've got to believe this is JoePa's final year. This will be a "Win one for the old man" game.
If common opponents mean anything, Wisconsin should have beat Ohio State at Camp Randall on a Saturday night. The next Saturday night, they had no clue what to do against the Nittany Lions. Absolutely were never in the game.

I can't believe I just read someone say Royster looks every bit as good as Chris Wells, the top back in the nation and a top 10 pick in the next nfl draft. Royster might not even go as high as Tony Hunt did.

I'm glad someone mentioned that Ohio St absolutely drilled Penn St last year on the road, and there isn't too many changes to the rosters. Yes, I would agree Clark is a huge upgrade to Morelli, but Pryor is also an upgrade to Boeckman, and he just picked apart the Penn St defense last year. Dan Connor is also gone, and he was PSU's best defensive player last year. Penn St is better than last year overall obviously, but I don't think it's by as much as people believe. I could really see Ohio St running away with this game, although Tressell would be the reason they might. He's a great coach, but his vanilla offense will usually tone down the blowouts.
