So Im thinking that the Defenses of the ravens and the steelers cannot be seperated as far as quality. They are the two best in the league. Only seperation might be injuries. Still, I think the difference in this game comes to the two offenses.

Ill take superbowl winner Ben Rothelsomething over Rookie Flacco as far as the ML goes. I dont know if Pit can cover the number if it stays at 5 though. First two games were won by Pitt by a TOTAL of 7 points.

Either way you pick, I think this is going to be a tough decision..... thoughts?

homer call from me obviously...but i think pitt has a good chance to cover. banged up ravens D playing i think 15 straight games or whatever it is since their bye week was in week 2. willie parker is finally healthy and ben is starting to get a bit of protection. i'll take the steelers -4 at home in this one

I believe the Ravens defense is really banged up. The Steelers are the only tam off a bye week to win & that will continue as they cruise to a 10 pt win over the Ravens!

This one will be close, unless Flacco makes some big errors. However, the Ravens will do what they have been doing, which is protect their rookie and not let him make those killer errors.
Steelers by 3.

:toast:Nice hit on PITT yesterday majestik

balt plus the points in this one.. Not buying it about how 'banged' up the Ravens are..This is the AFC Championship and if you guys think that the Ravens won't come ready to play then you are crazy. Ray and the boys will be ready to bring it. Pittsburghs O line vs Balts D line/LB's/blitz packages is what is Balts greatest strength is in this game IMO. Both these teams know eachother inside out and it should be a war. As long as Flacco doesn't have a sack fumble for a TD like he did on monday night I could see the Ravens even winning this one outright.

Line is now +6 which is almost eerie because it's the same line as that Monday Night game early in the season-- you know the game that everyone and their mother was laying the points with Pitt-6 and how the game was going to be a 'route'... yea guys keep thinking that!!:missingte

why is everybody thinking the steelers line is fixed all of a sudden they played a very tired sdg team that had to win the last what 8 games in a row also they had to fly acrossed the county after being completely spent goen into over time the week before I m shocked at all the homers on this board. Ben only looked good because he had time parkers last couple games against the ravens think he avgs. like 50 yards cant see a blow out here and love everybody pillen on pit hope line gets driven over 7

That pass defense didn't look too bad vs the NFL MVP last week. :think2:

That's true.. When you are able to consistently win field position battles by pinning a team on their own goal line as well as play keep away by running the ball and moving the chains that can sometimes happen. :grandmais:grandmais

sdg has the 31 st pass def:think2: who is the nfl mvp?

why's it so hard to believe that the steelers are the best team in the NFL lol. our SOS and injury battles all year should be opening your eyes a little bit.

yet we had the #1 SOS, clearly can't be the same

Only difference in schedule I believe is Pitt played NE and SD where the Ravens played Miami and Oakland. I would say Pitt had it a little harder there but definietly nothing outrageous.

what difference does the number of playoff teams played make? you're saying teams like new england, new york, dallas, etc aren't good teams? just the way things played out. but for the love of god...the ravens aren't going to win, give it up

A rookie Qb will not beat a proven Steelers team that has already won a SB. Ravens coach is playing the Qb position to close to the vest & will not let hime make mistakes, the thing is, when Pitt goes up on the Ravens by 2 scores, Flacco will be forced to throw the ball & then come the mistakes.
