Eagles Trade Foles for Bradford

In a move that borders on the unexplainable, Chip Kelly and the Eagles traded QB Nick Foles to the Rams for QB Sam Bradford. Chip Kelly is proving just how bad of a personnel director he really is. Bradford eats up all of that cap money that Kelly saved up by dumping other Philadelphia stars like LeSean McCoy. I have no idea what Kelly will do next, but you can be sure that his stock, as well as the Eagles, is falling very quickly.

Being from Philadelphia, and putting some much stock into Chip Kelly. this one really hurts unless he has some diabolical plan to get Mariota. Foles has been way more successful than Bradford, yet we're paying more. This deal makes no sense. Mr. Kelly, what you've just dine is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent deals were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

As with BigdaddyQH and Raydittinger I have a difficult time to understand this trade. Has Bradford completed a full season without an injury? Who is Bradford's backup in Philly?

Bradford played a full season his rookie year, was named rookie of the year. Mark dirty Sanchez is the backup. As far as the cap, Bradford was to earn 13 million but I hear a re-do on the contract is being done. The re-do is a one year with incentives.

So the Eagles also give the Rams their 2015 4th round pick and their 2016 2nd round pick and get the Rams 2015 5th round pick. Now that makes a lot of sense. Trade for an inferior QB and give up picks as well.

Since the start of 2010, Sanchez and Bradford own the second- and third-worst Total QBR in football, respectively, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
