Eagles/Steelers tomorrow night...early thoughts

Pitbull posted that Andy Reid will be playing the starters for three quarters tomorrow night. Does anyone else feel that the Eagles are a good bet tomorrow night?

Steelers can't touch the Eagles in regular season. If they ever have a chance to beat this in state rival tomorrow night is the time!I'm looking for a steeler win but I love the plus 4.

Without starting another thread, I want to post an interesting line for Friday night's Seattle/San Diego game from Olympic.


First Half:
275 Seahawks -1.5 -125 -150
276 Chargers +1.5 +105 +130

As much as I dislike laying the quarter I feel there is substantial value here playing the Seahawks -1.5 -125 in the first half. Mike Holmgren says he will play his starters (including Matt Hasselback) for the entire 1st half. I have to believe the Seahawks will be very competitive against San Diego with their starters in during the 1st half.

I took the Eagles laying the -3.Philly is a tough place to play for the visiting team in a night game on national TV.
Also Pitt will be looking at alot more players than the eagles.
They should cover the three[I hope]

Early thoughts, late thoughts, all thoughts should be on the Birds! The western half of the state will be suffering tomorrow night (and it's only pre-season).

At 3 the Birds are a good play IMO. The new guys are picking up the complex plays more and more and they should get extended playing time tomorrow. The injury bug is killing us though...I wish we could get out of ONE camp healthy.

With both Eag/Pitt D's banged up special teams players mainly for Eag will be seeing double duty between special teams and linebacking which should take a toll on the players. Pitt main focus offense. I like the over 38ov-102.

i'm with ya on this Dante. i am begining to believe that the money is made on the totals, not the games. they are way to unpredictable after the frist half.

i also like the under, but waiting to see what it is at game time
