Terrell Owens and Tra Thomas will start with the first-team offense and the unit will likely play into the second half of Friday's home preseason tilt with the Bengals. Head coach Andy Reid announced his personnel rotation following the team's morning walk-through on Thursday.
Quarterback Donovan McNabb will see a majority of the action, while Koy Detmer and Andy Hall will split duties for the remainder of the second half.
"The first unit will go for a half and possibly the beginning of the second half," Reid said. "We'll see how it goes after that."
The return of Owens and Thomas to the starting lineup is key considering this may be the last game action for the starters before the Sept. 12 opener in Atlanta.
As for injured players, Reid said the following players will not play in Friday's game with Cincinnati: safety Sean Considine, quarterback Mike McMahon, defensive tackles Sam Rayburn and Jamaal Green, cornerback Linj Shell, running back Correll Buckhalter, defensive end Trent Cole, offensive lineman Jamaal Jackson, receiver Justin Jenkins and cornerback/returner Dexter Wynn.
