Well, I know this is a Hermy/Guillen bash thread, but to be honest, Hermy was close to flawless before this, and Guillen had managed to look like a genius more often than not. Players play the game, guys strike out. Right move, wrong move, who knows. All of us second guessers are internet backseat drivers. Not many AL teams come into a NL park and fare well. Not making excuses but I think things tend to come back to the median or norm. Was Hermy going to have a perfect season? Was Guillen going to make all perfect decisions? Not too surprised that things are evening out, nature of the game.
