I just heard on the radio that Durant was rated 78 out of 80 prospects at the NBA workout camp he just attended. I don't know what parameters they used in making those ratings though.

Chris Bosh was 51st when he was tested, TJ Ford finished behind Chris Kaman in foot speed Drills, I'm not sure how these ratings are done either

Earl Boykins is/was an unbelievable baller.

Brady Quinn = Joey Harrington with muscles. One of the most overhyped QBs in college and coming into the NFL in a long time (even with the drop in the draft).

Don't worry about Durant and the bench press. Wonder what Tayshaun Prince benched after 4 years of college? He's doing okay and not near the talent of Durant.

How big was KG when he came into the league...

Wasn't this the big knock on Kevin Garnett too? He is still only 6'11 220... and he seems to hold his own in the pros... Durant is in a way like KG but with a better outside game... His quickness and jump shot will help him greatly... And defense is about athletic ability when you have arms that long... Sure back into him but when you turn can you get the shot over him is the question? He has great leaping ability and he is very quick for his size...

Who cares how much he can bench... Who cares if he can life anything other then a basketball... THe kid is a dynamite player...

As I said this was the knock on KG too and we all saw how that turned out

How can you have so many opinions yet be wrong 100% of the time? How did KG do in his rookie season? Not dominating, was he? Have you seen KG lately? The dude is RIPPED. He didn't become a superstar until he started lifting weights. Same with Kobe.... he didn't become a superstar until he became a gym rat. Even Jordan benched close to 300 pounds. If lifting weights don't matter, why do these players even bother?

Btw, KG is close to 260 pounds, not 220, damn you're so CLUELESS.

Durant will NEVER become a star unless he develops his upper body strength. And if you think he'll become a star taking jumpshots, you're even more clueless. There are plenty of great permieter defenders in the league. The only way this guy will become a 20ppg scorer is to develop his interior game. He does not have the quickness to take the likes of Prince and Bowen off the dribble. Nor the ability or the strength to back them down. Unless he develops his upper body strength and an inside game, he'll be another huge bust.

ESPN.com has him at 220 and so does Yahoo Sports... So not sure which one to go off of... In his second year in the league out of high school as a scrawny kid KG averaged 17 PPG, 2 BPG, and 8 RPG... I didn't know that isn't very good... And I don't think he was huge then... KG is still very slender for his height and he was always ripped... What does ripped have to do with brute strength...? You are clueless because that was the knock on KG... jesus get a clue...

He was called too skinny and as an 18 year old in the Western Conference in the post his rookie season he averaged 10 PPG, 6 RPG, and 2 BPG in 28 MPG... I would say he held his own as a scrawny little 18 year old in the league

yep. keep hearing a wisper about Luke to Boston for their number 5 pick..... ohhh connely Jr. would be nice, but really any 1st round pick for Luke would be alright. We'll sign and trade Lewis at the very least, I still think that there is a shot Lewis sticks around. There is alot that we can do right now with our picks and posistion....... or of course we can always go after another Center from who knows where.

There's no way Boston trades their #5 for Ridnour straight up. Maybe if we package something else together, but not straight up.

NBA.com and Wikipedia both have him listed at 253 pounds. I think I'll trust NBA's own website over any other.

Since when does 10ppg make you a superstar? Then I guess Smush Parker and Luke Walton are superstars too??????? OH no, the Lakers cut a superstar.... better re-sign him! hahahahahahahahaahahahhahaahhahahahaha!

You're not a superstar until you avg over 20ppg... and that did not happen until his 3rd season. Unless you think Odom is a superstar.

I didn't know this was a big man... or a strong looking man but I guess I could be wrong haha

Are you mad at me because of this Crunch

Mad at you?

I actually feel sorry for you because your knowledge of sports is subpar, even bordering on retarded. But continue expressing your highly inflated (and often wrong) opinions because I don't mind correcting you every single time.

I didn't know there was a superstar bar...

Nash only averages 18.9 a game so I guess he doesn't qualify... Damn I bet he is heart broken that he doesn't qualify under Crunch's standards of a superstar...

Also Kevin Martin is a pretty nice name to throw out there as a superstar and 20 point scorer....

Just stop KG is not jacked and isn't the strongest man in the world... That is the point.

Garbage? Because I'm right? If not, feel free to dispute it with facts.

Just overall, everything with you is a joke. the whole 'hahahahahhaa' bullshit is annoying as fuck, and then you go making a huge wager of 20 units and then it loses, but oh nope nevermind forget this thread even though you announced you didnt place the bet AFTER the results came in on Anaheim beating Ottawa. Enough with the act.

Ok have a good day Crunch... Whatever helps you sleep at night and whatever helps you keep living your life without the thoughts of suicide...

KG isn't big and wasn't big when he came in and he handled himself nicely... He was also 18 maybe that is why he only averaged 10 a game just a thought...

You are the smartest dude I have ever heard... I wonder if the mods can add a chime in Crunch button so when we need your assistance we can call you... Like if we ever need a 20 unit bomb in hockey

Nash = only player to avg double-figures in ASSISTS and POINT the past 3 season. Seriously, you really can't be this retarded?

Kevin Martin is NOT a superstar yet... but he keeps doing it for few more years and he will be.

Who said Garnett was the "strongest man in the world"? I said he's ripped and his 253 pound frame shows it. He's not the scrawny lil guy you seem to think he is. In fact, I guarantee he can bench 185 pounds, more than once.

Do you have the number for Spencer Hawes? That's a guy I was thinking would really be hurt by the workouts.

It's mind over matter.... I don't mind and you don't matter.

Seriously, why do you think your opinion matters to me? It really doesn't. There's only couple of posters on here whose opinions I value and you're definately not it.

I've made more money gambling than you ever will. But then again I've never played basketball against some nobody. Your claim to fame, I guess. Yeah, I have a feeling that'll be the highlight for the rest of your life. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
