Excellent. Very intense. Surpasses Saving Private Ryan as my favorite war movie.

Highly recommend going to see it in the theater.

sex is worse than killing, hence the PG rating. there was a british documentary
about dunkirk that was quite good.

Saw it tonight. Good flick, not great. Interesting bit of war history that you don't see often is "war movies".

Gonna check it out this weekend. Dunkirk is in the top 3 mistakes Hitler made that cost Germany the war. Curious how accurate it will be. Saving Private Ryan was loosely based on 3 brothers from the Midwest but the script was fiction. Most WWII vets said that the action scenes were very realistic and that made the movie successful and one of my all time favorites. Monument Men was good so I am hoping that Dunkirk isn't a disappointment.

Totally agree...

It isn't good at all, C- tops. No way would I advise spending money in a theatre, and honestly, I'd vote it's a waste of time to even see if for free in your own home...

Best movie I've seen in a long time. Not much dialogue but the visuals are STUNNING. Intense movie from start to finish. Nolan makes another masterpiece.

Wow interesting. A waste of time? haha. Did you like Dark Knight, Inception or Interstellar?

six weeks and two days

and secondary tickets are a lot more expensive than they were two years ago

PS: I'm going to check out this movie, I love war movies. I'm hoping I agree with the people that love it, and not the people that were disappointed

I just watched Hacksaw Ridge last expecting to see a lame ass movie. Awesome ! Made me do some research. Again, awesome. I already know the Dunkirk history. I'm sure I'll love and hate it at the same time.

Saw it this weekend in IMAX, fantastic film. Film focuses less on Hollywood bs, captures the desperation these soldiers felt in that situation. Great film, would see again.

Also a tip of the cap to Hans Zimmer for musical score, more than compensates for there being less dialogue.
