There's a reason why Dunkel has been in business for 80 years.
Their numbers have always been razor sharp, even back in the day when they first starting putting out their ratings using nothing but an abacus.

yeah, its a very good power rating system. with a lil twist to it, it can be profitable. hopefully we'll bounce back today. couple of shitty losses on the rl last couple of days.

Exactly.
The only thing Dunkel's or any other reliable ratings system can't do is predict the backspin of a roundball that spins away from an infielder late in the game that normally would be an out, that turns into a bad hop wager destroying RBI single.
But that is gambling folks, and one should know this going in, or one should take up chess.

Thats the human factor nobody can include in any system/program. Sometimes you cap the game right, but because of human error it goes the other way. You're 100% right, thats gambling...

have you looked at totals at all? im wondering if its profitable to play anything with a difference of 1.5....just a thought

todays plays would be:

washington under 9.5
la angels over 10
white sox over 9

not sure if its very profitable but there lines do seem to be very sharp, and 1.5 runs would be a big advantage on a total. thanks for posting these plays, i really like philly tonight. gl
