Or George Shinn's Rutledge College scam that I believe cost taxpayers a crap load of money because of the student loans tied to it?Not sure about it but from what I remember is they signed up anyone that was willing and had a pulse to government loans for their school and most of the deadbeats ended up not even going to school or paying back the loans and he ended up selling the schools for like 30 million or so and that was the springboard to bring Charlotte it's first professional sports franchise...So he got government guaranteed loan money and was able to sell also...This happened in 1987 or so and most articles are not on internet because it is so old...
