Dumb Question: Torrent site

if you have a more recent/"better" laptop, HDMI is the only way to go. If not, hopefully both have DVI ports. Most flat-screens do. It's how I hook up my laptop.

the trick is to have an inexpensive pc hooked up to the tv at all times - it makes everything so fluid. since i moved out here i haven't had cable, but i also haven't missed a celtics game. between torrents, hulu, streaming netflix, channelsurfing, espn360, and the tuners in the pc i don't miss cable one bit. my $39/month 20Mb comcast connection can download a bluray rip in under 2hrs.

Not sure about the business thing - I'd assume it wouldn't be any worse, if you mean in terms of copyright violations - but i'm no lawyer.
