I notice that whenever I watch the news, they refer to her as a "stripper." In reality, there is every reason to believe she is a prostitute. I saw a detective from Las Vegas on some news show a few weeks ago and he said that If this had happened in Nevada instead of Durham, NC, the report would have never made it past the detective's desk. Apparently it is very common for prostitutes to try to extort extra money from wealthy men or men with reputations to protect by threatening to report a rape. I'd say the Duke boys were a prime target.
