Who ya got?
Line opened at 11 and is a solid 13 most everywhere.
Duke has been exposed, Johnnies have improved as of late, I'm leaning towards the NYC home boys getting a fistful of points.

I dont think St. John's is the type of team that gives Duke trouble, I think ACC basketball is much stronger than the Big East and I think this is a mismatch talent wise....Duke rolls.
Good luck to you whichever way you go.

Duke could easily blow them out tonight. I watched many of Johnnies games
and they don't have the bench to keep them in the game late.
Besides St. John's is 0-8 ATS in its last 8 games vs. ACC.

I personally am playing Duke in a ml parlay, as I don't see them losing.

St. John's can't hold with Duke (even though they have struggled lately).
St. John's:
Lost to Miami by 14
Lost to Virginia Tech by 14
Lost to Providence by 21
Lost to Pitt by 23
Lost to UConn by 12
Lost to Villanova by 19
Lost to Cinncy by 11
Lost to W.Virginia by 23
Lost to Seton Hall by 10
Lost to Louisville by 13
Lost to Marquette by 14

I would think Duke is in this category of teams, if not better than a lot of them

ACC is "MUCH BETTER then Big East"????? How do you figure. That statement makes no sense

I said stronger. In terms of overall strength of all teams concerned.
The worst team in the ACC, which is probably Georgia Tech, could beat about half the Big East teams on any given night. Granted, at the top it is much closer with Pitt, UConn and maybe Louisville, but overall ACC is much STRONGER conference than the Big East.

This should make sense.

In no way would I agree with this statement

I think the power structure of the conferences is different. The bottom couple of teams in the big east are absolute garbage and they inflate they win totals of the middle of the pack. This is why the Big East gets 7 or 8 teams into the dance every year, and then half of them flame out.

In the ACC the middle 4 can lose to the bottom 4 any night out. This has been the reason that the ACC gets shafted at tourney time. The ACC might not have more great teams but it goes alot deeper than the BE imo..

Obviously I'm a homer for the ACC but I think this is a fair assumption. Prove me wrong

You said it better than I did Jimmy, top to bottom ACC is stronger. There are no teams as bad as DePaul or South Florida in the ACC-I would take Virginia or Georgia Tech over either of these teams 9/10 straight up, and I'll take Florida State any day over Providence if you want to talk about middle of the pack teams.
To the people getting all hot under the collar, its just my opinion of course. Doesn't mean much so nobody needs to get too riled up about it.

I should kick myself in the ass for not pounding Duke, when I knew St J didn't have the bench to keep up :ohno:
