Field Crews finally got the diamond is playable condition after much snow accumulation in Colorado but temperatures were cold this afternoon for the day game and will be even colder tonight for the second game of the double header. Atlanta took the day game 4-3 finally getting back in the win column but starting pitcher Teheran will have to improve with his effiency if Atlanta looks to take the night cap. Teheran is 0-0 7.31 ERA and has allowed four runs in all three of his starts giving up 5 HR's in 16 Innings Pitched. Opponents have a .318 average against Teheran and will need to find control and location working to improve his 7/12 BB/K Ratio. Garland is 2-0 3.32 ERA and has had three quality starts. Garland is 3-1 3.55 ERA in five career appearances at Coors Field but is 1-2 7.25 ERA in four starts vs. Braves. Opponents are hitting .232 against Garland who checks in with a 3/10 BB/K Ratio. Jason Heyward is out with an appendectomy but Freeman and Uggla are back in action. BJ Upton has 25 K's on the season in 70 At Bats and may lose his starting Center Field Position temporarily or permanently to Jordan Schafer if Upton can't get it going soon. Teheran will have to finally deliver tonight in a hitters ballpark or questions may soon surround him also. Source: ESPN MLB Preview.
