last night: 3-3, +.06 units
ytd: 85-91, +.04 units
Well it feels good to put a + instead of a - in front of my units finally. Hoping this becomes a trend.
1 unit:
ATL/Philly under 8.5...Smoltz and Myers know how to keep the ball down in a hitter's ballpark.
Oakland -1 (+128)...Cleveland's gotta make the long trip out to Oakland and OAK coming off a big road win vs. Anaheim. Think they carry momentum and their solid lefty bats against Byrd who hasn't picked his game up yet.
Cubs -121...Batista is still inconsistent for the D'Backs, and if Maddux gives 6 solid innings, he turns it over to a bullpen that has some live arms, including Aardsma who has faced this AZ lineup when he was in the NL West, and Howry who has rejuvinated his career completely in Chicago.
SD +111...Seo pitches one good game and becomes a favorite here...Don't understand it. LAD shook up the lineup last night but SD is swinging the hot bat. No one to fear in this LAD lineup after the 5 hole, whereas SD has speed up and down the lineup, now that Barfield's not hitting at the top of the lineup.
Baltimore +126...Koronka looked fantastic last time out for Texas, but fact is, he seems like a junk-ball lefty hurler against a righty-loaded Orioles lineup. You never know what you'll get out of Cabrera, but if he's on, the O's bats could produce well here.
