MILWAUKEE (AP) A fan at the Milwaukee Brewers-Minnesota Twins game Saturday night injured his head when he fell trying to slide down an escalator handrail.
Steve Ethier, vice president of Miller Park operations, said the man had a cut on the back of his head and termed it ''a self-inflicted injury.''
The man was taking the escalator from Miller Park's second level to the ground level when he attempted to slide down the railing, fell backward, struck a program cart and hit the concrete, Ethier said.
The man's friends said he had been drinking from 2 p.m. until the time he fell at about 8:20 p.m., Ethier said.
