Okay I am not very computer savy - But I use drop box and save alot of Sports info in various excel files in drop box.

I think my windows crashed so I re-installed Window 8 on my computer but All my drop box folders are back to 2015 is there a way to reclaim those files?

Not sure what you mean by your folders back to 2015.... Your files aren't lost, they are stored on a server elsewhere.

You can even install dropbox on your phone, and access the files from your phone, I do it all the time...

Yes when I go to open those files today they are not showing any updated info - they say last updated in 2015

That's really strange. I'd try installing Dropbox on your phone, and see if you see the same thing from there... Or try on another computer...

this is what it says on their Website

Provide a Dropbox support agent with the needed info to perform an account rollback:
When we perform a rollback, you will have several options. You can choose to revert:

  • One shared folder
  • Multiple shared folders
  • Files that are not shared
  • Your entire Dropbox account
Whichever option you choose, performing a rollback means that your account—or the selected shared folder(s)—will be reverted to the exact state it was in prior to the deletion event. Any changes made after that point will be overwritten. It may be useful to make a copy outside of your Dropbox of any files you have recently edited so that you don't lose important changes.
Once you have made copies of any recently edited files, you'll need to get in touch with Dropbox support and provide an event link.

What happens if you log into your account on the dropbox website? You should be able to see your files there as well?
