Drinking update

Well, I am proud to say I made it through my weekend without touching a drop of alcohol.
I ate better, felt better, and won most of my bets.
No problem getting through the work week, the next hurdle will be enxt week at the company X-mas party. but I'm feeling much more confident now. All that advice and words of encouragement really did help.

Here is a idea for the party,volunter to be a designated driver and you will score big points with the boss,and they will know your not drinking and you wont have to explain to everyone why your not drinking

I have never been a drinker...always a smoker. But i am sure that kicking that habit would be just as hard.

Here's a couple of drinks I have at bars/parties when I can't drink for one reason or another:

1) Seltzer/club soda with lime or
2) Canberry with seltzer/club soda

If you like to drink it's nice to have something in your hands to help you deal with the fact that everyone around you is tossing a few back.
