Drinking alcohol with your meals!

I read an article in Stuff Magazine where a guy drinks 2 glasses of wine with each meal and that is as sober as he gets.

Interesting.

I am assuming he drinks much more in the afternoons.

I could never enjoy alcohol with food, but that's me.

Since me and Ken are Sober now, we do not have to worry about this problem.

Do you enjoy alcohol while eating?

Yup, though probably only once a week or so - wine with steak or chicken but also ice cold beer with burgers or brats, or just maybe with more beer. Beer's a food, right??

Could be a "Health" issue also with that guy. They say a glass of wine is great for your health, of course, this guy may be taking it to extremes!

I guess it is a cultural thing. In Costa Rica more than any place in the world they have food with their beer. It is actually a meal per beer charge. Some places you stop eating they still say at the end of the night, hey you have 6 bocas left, want them to go? It is amazing cause they are nice servings sometimes. You can get cordon blue with mashed potatoes and gravy, beer one. Ceviche (raw fish with lemon and salt and spices) beer two. Arroz con Pollo (chicken and rice) beer three. then I am done. But you can watch the game and stuff. I don't really recall seeing a bar like that in the states. Here it is almost standard. Fun thing is it is like $6.5 per head for what I just had. Come down to CR let's have a beer.

If you have 2 drinks with lunch and diner you sure do have a drinking problem. I would think you should cease this practice and plus drunkeness is illegal.

come on... i like beer more than most folk but with food you just cant have.i enjoy 6-8 beers before dinner while working in the yard on a saturday .then after dinner finsih off 4 or 5 more just to make for a good nights sleep.
during the week , maybe a 20 for the ride home from work at 1 am.
