Del Mar presents The Rancho Bernardo Handicap (Grade III) for fillies and mares 3 year olds and up running 6 and 1/2 furlongs on the all weather track for a purse of $200,000. Appears that Carlsbad could be the lone speed in this race and set what fractions she wishes making the pace most likely not too fast. Wouldn't be surprised to see her wire this field but I'm going to go with the little classier mare and strong finisher to catch her before the wire.
