Yep,I tried it for a bit because I would win the season long leagues with friends and such. Then I go on Fan Duel and get my ass handed to me. Seriously, how hard is it to predict who will score 4 td's on a given Sunday or what no name tight end will score 3 td's. Or what kicker will kick 6 fg's this sunday. Season long leagues I do just fine in.
There are some of those guys that I think offer to play 1 on 1 with someone for 25K. You have to have a set on you for that.
I play on both FD and DK. You can try them out by playing for free just to see if you like the experience. IMO 50/50's are a good way to start once you start playing for cash. Most of your daily plays should go there, but you can always throw a small % of your daily plays on a tournament. It's hard to win, but there is a alot of good info available to help you out. If you are going to be playing daily NBA you absolutely need to keep on top of who's in and who's out of the lineup right up till tip off. Twitter can be a good place to get late breaking info.
Twitter and sites like rotoworld/wire are a must if your going to play daily. There's a lot of people playing who don't know that someone is a gtd has been ruled out an hour before the game. Def have to be on top of line ups and back to back tendencies. It's fun and it's a great way to learn about certain teams / match ups to use for your sports betting.
