you're fos. I don't have the time to go back and document it, but I have at least 6 winning posts here, and one loss. And my X2 over T3 write-up is my play of the year, believe me, I'm going to be making more than 150 bucks on that one.

Exactly what action would I be in on? Looking back on your posts, you have very few actual picks... A lot of "that's not a bad play", etc... Rarely do you make actual plays with the lines, source, and how much you put on it -- you definitely don't have 7 actual plays.

I haven't posted any plays in the last two weeks. Before that, I had a winning play every week except for my over on Anger Management. It's all there, look it up. I'm at work so I'm not going to waste my time with your silly accusations. It's not that hard, what, you don't know how to operate a computer, either? Sorry for being a dick, guys, but I just thought I'd save you some money. It is possible to win, anyways, as I see Rolling Stone gave it 2 stars, so we shall see.

Sound, I'm offering to take bets on how many start Ebert gives Down With Love. Here's what I'm offering:

Roger Ebert will give Down with Love 2 or 4 stars +100

maximum bet is 100 bucks, but for Bovine I'll make an exception. LOL.

I've had too much trouble in the past with doing person-to-person bets on the Net... I'll stick with Intertops for my play on this rather than go through the hassle of finding a reputable courier.

The ironic part in all of this is that Ebert's actual 3.5 star Matrix review seems to be a lot more generous than most other reviews of the Matrix. The incorrect 2 star ("plotless") review actually seems more in line with the reviews I've read today.

(If I were the cynical type, I might suggest that this would seem to give credence to Oren's theory of taking the early buzz and coming up with a reasonable guess at Ebert's rating).

Nevertheless, I guess all we can do is see what happens. If he's right, he lives to fight another day (and he'll be everybody's best friend again). If he's wrong, that will be the end of that and we'll all move on to the next angle. I'm actually roootin' for ya, Rod - I cringe at the thought at how ugly it might get in here Friday morning

Giving you another shot Rod. If you're wrong, I'll have broken even anyways. My instinct tells me you might be on to something here, and at +200 it's worth the GAMBLE. That's what this is all about anyways, GAMBLING. Good luck to you Rod. The notion that you could possibly work for Interops, posted by someone earlier, is incredibly foolish on the grounds that Intertops would not offer these bets to begin with if they had even a hint that the results were available to the public before they appear in the paper. Trust me, I have experience with Intertops on such matters.

LOL. If I was working for them, do you actually think I'd be waisting my time in here. lol. With the way everyone has been going on, you'd think we were talking about thousands of dollars here... Christ, I made everyone over a hundred each the first time around... you're still playing with winnings. Soon to be more winnings. Anyway, it's getting too heated up in this chat room for my liking... I going to take a break. Enjoy your money. Talk later.

going to take a break? That means what, you won't post anything next week even if this one does indeed win? or you will be back in a couple days after this wager is graded?

I can't wait until Friday morning. I'm going to put my winnings on a cool boxing prop.

RodBovine, seems like your "source" isn't taking advantage of this precious info he gets even after risking his job. Why isn't your "source" wagering himself so he can at least make money for all the "risks" he's taking? If he IS wagering, why would he mix up all that shitt that lessens his chance? There's no such thing as a free lunch. What's in it for your half-blind, illiterate "source"?

There's a movie at the Sun Times with the 16 code in the URL (May 16th?), but its a bad link, so maybe they put it up too soon. Well, this movie - Man on the Train - got 4 stars.

Here's to hoping DWL gets the 2.

"Pay Back Time", indeed.

The claim that someone had enough time to read the matrix review but didn't have enough time to get the accurate number of stars was enough for me to stay away.

Well that's that. To quote from "The Untouchables": Here endeth the lesson.
