Down By Contact?

Anybody watching this Kent St game? Kent St. clearly recovered that and was down by contact. It really bothers me that not only do the dumbass announcers fail to mention this, but the coach isn't aware of something like that.

Yea i saw that. Pissed me off bad. Kent st +9.5 was fucked hard.

Makes it even worse that there was an injured player that stopped the game, leaving time for a review.

And the under was called in by Vegas on the long bg pass earlier in the quarter too. Wasted 4 mins and cost 4 extra points there too.

Just really fucking bothers me to watch the game and my eyes are telling me it's bullshit! The whole teams knows he is running 6 times in a row, but they can't stop a damn thing...but earlier they slow motion read option into the middle of the line three times and have to kick another fg...ridiculous!

When did the line dive that low? The line in Vegas was 13, so it mattered not what happened. Kent covered. Remember you are dealing with a conference that has some of the worst teams in the FBS. A Conference desperate to get some attention so they play games whenever they can get on TV. If you wager on these games, that is on you. Do not be suprised at these type of calls. They come with the territory.

No such thing as "down by contact" in college football. There's just "down" - contact is unnecessary and irrelevant.
