Hopefully he is and hopefully people take his advice, if the market is inevitably going back to 2009 levels I'd like to see it do so as soon as possible.

Its very dumb advice.

So he is suggesting to take all your money out and pay taxes with a 10% haircut on top of that.


Just because the market is imploding does not mean you cant adjust your plan in this market.

Currently I have mine 100% in a stable value fund that makes a fixed 3%.
On top of that I get a 6% company match.

So I am making 9% on my money with no worries.


So fish suggest that I take all my money out, pay the taxes and 10% and forgo my 9% locked in profit.

Yea right.

my father is entering the retirement age (early 60's) got him completely out of the market a few weeks back when the writting was on the wall and he was slowly beginning to lose money prior to the end of bond buying. Now his money is just earning interest, and unlike others, when the market drop does seem to be ending, he can jump back in at full force compared to those that ideally just went down with the ship

the overseas markets are getting crushed...and the dow and nasdaq futures are off sharply again....
