He said he has caught one 4 straight games. Odds on that have to be a million to one.

I got one a long time ago that was rolled to the backstop,I waited for it to stop then picked it up...nice hands.

I also dropped a foul pop right up the shoot a mile high it had so much spin it just spun out of my hands.

foul balls caught in 4 straight games is almost unbelievable. wow ive been to maybe 20-25 games lifetime and dont recall one being hit close enough to have a chance. thousands of kids at the games would give anything for a foul ball and doug flutie gets one 4 games in a row!!!

I go to 10-12 games a year and have never been close to getting one.The closest I've come is a batting practice HR but that wouldn't count.

I heard about his four-game foul ball streak on my car radio while I was schleppin pizzas. The show's hosts were talking about it after, and one of them (whose name I don't remember) said that Flutie is a great ballplayer, while the other guy, former Dallas Cowboy and Super Bowl winner James Washington said that Flutie is a great, great guy as he has met Flutie before, however, Washington didn't say anything about Flutie being a great player.

I figure that anyone who played major college football, let alone having played in the NFL at age 40 has to be a great ATHLETE, however, I wouldn't be sure how to rate him as a PLAYER, be it good, average, above average, or below average.
