I think the time is now,

They ate due!!

Triple down!!!

The Cubs haven’t scored a run since Saturday and have managed only six hits in the last two games combined.

Lackey 1-7-1 last 9 playoff starts on the road
Should have lost last game vs Giants, pulled after 4 and got a no-decision

Cubs vastly overrated.
SF, LA, Nats, Cards, Mets all had huge injury problems, Cubs only lost defensive liability but slugger Schwarber for the year and a few others for a couple weeks, so they looked better than actual.
Sure, Lester is a top notch starter, the rest, not so hot. Arrieta's freak run is over, so is Hendrick's (anomaly), Lackey is a warrior but aging, out of gas. Sure, Chapman is best 9th inning closer in MLB.
Sure, Bryant & Rizzo are the best corners in MLB, bar none. The rest, some talent but inconsistent.
LA's starting pitching is worn out but prevailing.
Cubs feel the pressure of CHOCKING again, it is what they do. It is hovering over their head. Self proclaimed genius Maddon in shock, he was believing his own BS until now.
LA wins tonight, Cubs with Lester Thurs, LA saves Kershaw for Sat, he shuts down Cubs in their jinxed 'lil ballpark.
LA in 6 games.

Nothing would excite me more than for this to come true. But to say they're overrated is a bit harsh. They're loaded with young talent, and will be a force in the Central division for a good period of time. That all being said, I love your energy and hope it all unfolds exactly how you described. w-thumbs!^

Good team but vastly overrated. They were fortunate not to have had the injuries their NL competitors had.

Ratings out of 10, how they stack up, today (Clemente, Mays, Koufax, Bench, et al, in their primes = 10's)

Lester = 9
Hendricks = 6.5
Arrieta = 7
Lackey = 6.5
Chapman = 8.5

Catchers = 6
Rizzo = 8
Baez = 6.5
Russell = 7
Bryant = 9
Zobrist = 7
Fowler = 6.5
Heyward = 5.5<iframe id="google_osd_static_frame_9544870894307" name="google_osd_static_frame" style="display: none; width: 0px; height: 0px;"></iframe>
