Ok, yes Dotel is old, but the Braves arent getting him thinking about 2008 and beyond.

Davies is a mediocre pitcher, and no longer to be considered a prospect.

IMO, the trade doesnt benefit KC at all while the Braves are getting someone that can help them win this year.

Has to be frustrating as hell as a fan. Worst part is that it becomes cyclical with these teams. Davies will either bust out or turn out to be decent and be traded in 4 years in a similar deadline deal. American sports need relegation and promotion like Euro soccer.

Tough to question Dayton Moore about his acquisitions-- he has been golden so far in KC.

Agree with royalfan--Moore knows the ATL system and is comfortable with this trade.
