Have any of your sources mentioned the impacts and deaths from CV-19 that don't just include 90-year-olds, but young, healthy people who thought they were impervious to reality like you? Yes, the majority will not get severely sick, but some do, and some of them die, and it's people like you who put everyoone else at risk.

One in seven patients develops difficulty breathing and other severe complications, while 6% become critical.
The key difference is how far the disease progresses within the body.
Covid-19 generally establishes itself in the nose and throat. If the patient’s immune system manages to bring the virus under control at that stage, the case is likely to remain a mild one.
But if the infection progress further down the windpipe, and takes up residence in the delicate always that lead to the lungs, the danger increases dramatically – and sometimes very quickly.
Medical researchers now believe they have come up with an answer for these tragic deaths and it comes down to your genes, an overactive immune system and taking fewer precautions.
In some young, healthy people, a very reactive immune system could lead to a massive inflammatory storm that could overwhelm the lungs and other organs.

In those cases, it is not an aged or weakened immune system that is the problem – it is one that works too well.

It would be nice if this clears up by fall, and remains cleared up, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Another question is... how long can we shut down the world economy for before absolute hell breaks loose? People are beginning to get desperate already, I've seen people shoplifting food from stores, B&Es are increasing, and I've encountered a few aggressive panhandlers over the past week.

It's a noble act to try to protect people from the virus, but the economic fallout will be quite nasty as well. Damned if we do, damned if we don't...

"With many parts of the world wondering what a slow return to normal life will look like, South Korea's situation offers a warning: The curve doesn't necessarily stay flat.

...Since then, with the swift implementation of nonpharmaceutical initiatives, like refraining from handshakes and diligently wearing masks, South Korea significantly reduced its number of daily cases from a peak of 909 in late February to as low as 76 and 64 in mid-March.

Despite this general decline, 125 new cases were reported last Monday — a slight increase from the previous day, at 78. The new stats also showed a rising death toll.

[h=1]‘We should not sell out our lives for short-term economic gain’: Despite ‘glimmer of hope’ in COVID-19 battle, far too soon to return to normal, pandemic expert says[/h]

...The tradeoff of economic benefit over public health is a false dichotomy: the economy will greatly suffer if hundreds of thousands of Canadians die, as predicted by the Public Health Agency of Canada if no restrictions are in place. Protecting public health now, while posing short-term risk to the economy, will allow the economy to bounce back in the long term. We should not sell out our lives for short-term economic gain.”
