I get the line is low. I understand some of you think it's low for a reason so Miami must be the play. I think you're overthinking this one.

Who has Miami beaten this year? Florida A&M, Arkansas St., Duke, Cinci, VT and UNC. Duke is their only semi quality win here. They've lost to Louisville, Nebraska and GT.

Like him or not, J Winston is the best QB in the land and to date, has not lost a CFB game. Miami hasn't beaten FSU at home in like 10 years or so.

Young, inexperienced QB for Miami.

I just don't see it. Not putting my hard-earned money on this Miami team. Their SOS just isn't favorable.

I was wondering the same thing.

Usually when the boards are lopsided on one team it's very profitable to fade (from my experiences)

Good luck today Enfuego

FSU not playing well in both lines of scrimmage. Rivalry game. Miami can pound the ball. All that being said i still think It's too risky to take Miami

If you saw my thread enfuego then you read the same theory that you just stated here. I don't like fsu personally but I'm not letting my feelings get in the way here. I have them in a 5 team parlay to win 900$ and they are my least confident pick but I'm rolling with them because I think thisbgame is being overhyped and fsu should start to turn the dial up here these last 3-4 weeks. BOL man, I'm riding with you here as well as the over minnesota/Ohio state gm at 54.5

Im big on FSU, too. The love for Miami is astounding, IMO. They aren't a good football team. FSU, as much as I can't stand them, is a good football team. Everyone was all over Lville against FSU, too.

I saw this line drop to 1 1/2 earlier this week...Couldn't help but get in... If I lose , I lose, but going in, I feel these are the plays you have to make..

Vegas lines are ALL ABOUT PUBLIC PERCEPTION, never forget that. They don't give a flying rat's ass whose the better team, the line is set to get even money on both sides and walk away with the juice. The whole country is down on FSU because of their own version of "Jackass: The Movie" they've been making. It's easy to think their minds can't possibly be in the game, and frankly, their ATS record is clear demonstration of that. BUT, just as with that really fishy line against Louisville, ya gotta believe the right side is not to take the head fake. Miami has come on last three games though, I watched them put a serious beat down on UNC, but UNC has no defense. Duke Johnson is the real deal, and Kaaya been playing really well last three....can he make it four in a row???

Response to your title:

It could be the hate for Florida St

I really do think it will be a competitive game.

Fsu has struggled on road this year !! And this is where there lick runs out !! Miami pounds the ball with duke and wins a close game!! Miami's d is playing there best right now , last year they couldn't get a stop on 3rd down ! Last year miles were up 7 until duke got hurt and we all know which team has improved !! Miami 31 -30 ! Wide RIGHT returns!!!!

I completely agree with the title of this thread and I have some action on FLSt. That being said , after the outcome the winning side will say , at least to themselves in regards to this forum argument / conversation , "I told you guys so " FlSt wins ,it was obvious , Miami wins = Vegas Trap game. Plus the trap aspect of why such a low point spread will live in our minds longer than if the undefeated team wins going away. Bottom line is at this moment No One knows who will win, including Vegas , the coaches , the players themselves ,,,, unless it's all a conspiracy and the out come is pre determined. That opens up a whole different "can of worms".

I've got a small bet on FSU myself. I hate to go against that win streak. And with the line the way it is they basically just have to win to cover. Something to think about with FSU is with the much superior athletes they have over the rest of the ACC, they are probably only going to get better from week to week. Which despite a bad ATS year could make them a big threat if they make the playoff.

The only thing that makes me nervous is that there are a few good cappers on Miami. If the good cappers were quiet and just a lot of the mediocre and poor cappers, I would be a large play for me. Unfortunately there are a few guys who I don't like to fade on them as well

Hope they are wrong....
