Organizing and funding?
These things mushroom from the ignition of student activists. And like Willie just said they attract all kinds of young people who think they are standing for some misplaced righteousness. They don't need funding. They don't need any known leadership.
Organizing is easier than ever with social interaction through the internet. And involvement is easier than ever because there are no consequences. The liberal school hierarchy and the liberal media do little to discourage these behaviors. In fact they often encourage them.

Sometimes you are just clueless. Things don't always have to be funded and organized by some higher power boogeyman. Some things just organically happen. What's going on on these campuses today is a perfect example.
Take a ride to your nearest involved campus. Put on a keffiyah and mingle. Do some hands on research. You will find that Joe B from Poly Sci class and Melissa B from gender studies class and Hussain and Fatima, Arab foreign exchange students have collaborated to rouse the rebels. Nothing more. Nothing less.

These KIDS may not fully understand the big picture and NO DOUBT they often just go along.
But they are 100 percent more informed than we were at that age as there is MUCH more 2 way information TODAY compared to when we grew up with 3 channels plus PBS
Why are they different than the hippies that protested that BS Vietnam war?
Most everyday MAGOOS thought they were FOS at the time, YET in retrospect they understood that what the Govt was doing was BS
While these kids may not get all the ins and out of Gaza situation they know what DS Israel is doing is wrong......Why dont you?

The charters for Hamas and Hezbollah call for the destruction of Israel. There can be no peace if the state of Israel exists. That's the evil Israel is dealing with. When Hamas and / or Hezbollah attacked Israel in October and took hostages, they once again proved how barbaric they are. Israel has every right to destroy such enemies. Hamas and Hezbollah have to change their charters and their purpose or be destroyed.
War is evil, nobody wants war, but organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah can't be allowed to work towards their goals. I suggest you read their charters, then get back to me.
In the 90's, Bill Clinton and Saudi Arabia offer Arafat and the Palestinians everything they wanted, Land, autonomy, self government, all they could possibly expect. Yet Arafat still said no. He said no because he was a proxy for war for Iran, and if he accepted such a peace deal his money that made him wealthy is cut off and he's probably killed.
Nearly 2 million Muslims / Palestinians live peacefully in Israel, 18% of the population. They're safe, they prosper, they're allowed to practice their religion. How many Jewish people live similar lives with the Palestinians or Iran or other war mongering Muslim countries?
As I said, people have no idea what they're protesting. They have all the facts wrong
