Not a bad idea, ya fuvk up there (no lose situation in ORLANDO), then go back to a nice college program.

If Dwight Howard could get anybody decent around him on this team they wouldn't be half bad.

You have got to be kidding me....he acted as if he had no clue yesterday.

This just goes to show reality set in after his stars left and he had time to think about it...I am sorry to see this.

Orlando brass and marketing dept. made a wise decision...not sure if Donavan made the right one, although financially he probably did..

He'd be making $6M x 6 instead of $3-4M x 7. Here's an interesting quote from when he turned down the UK job:

"You can't buy happiness, and the school [Florida] has always taken care of me."

He's worshiped in Florida, he's getting PAID, and he doesn't have anything left to accomplish in CBB.

Plus, if he fails in the NBA, he can always go back. Every year there's at least one or two desperate big-time programs in need of a coach.

NBA assistants that have worked under sucessful coaches are the best suited for head coaches - I'm trying to think of one college coach that is successful in the NBA.

even if he fails in the nba he would not have to work another day in his life...36 mil guaranteed..no need to go back to college ball if he dont want to...he can just sit back and relax and retire in his mid 40's a very wealthy man
