got an e-mail from thedominantsportsbook.com offering nice bonuses to try them out.

I never heard of them. They appear to be brand new.

I looked in their FAQ and they claim to be
" Fully licensed and regulated by the government of Costa Rica." Isn't this bull shit? I don't think the government of Costa Rica licenses or regulates the books there.

smith...
yep, the books in here are licensed...
but not regulated..

in easy words.. they can legally operate
but.. the government don't do any accounting...

as far as i know... REAL LICENSED BOOKS ARE

The ones at CRIS BUILDING
and Tradewinds...

They have the legal paper.

I guess I was thinking of something else. not to poke fun at the panam situation, but I heard to watch out for books ( Or more likely on-line casinos)that claim to be "fully licensed, regulated and insured." Its usually a lie. Especially the insured part.

If a book I know is OK like bet365 claims this, I think its nice and I know they pay anyway. If a book in central america I never heard of claims to be these things, its scary.

in my opinion...

i think betting
is like doing bussiness

if you can't trust your partner
then you need a lawyer to defend you
becauze you're weak,,, or you're dealing
with a non-trustable-word-man

in your case it seems,,, you're soft ears...

i mean,,, a whore called you, and swore the moon and the stars then you came hot!,,, now you're with the intrigue if you have to bang her... with the posibility to wake up next morning and she's gone with your wallet...

Mr. Smith please proceed with extreme caution.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>" Fully licensed and regulated by the government of Costa Rica." <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

This essentially means that the book (most likely) has a corporation and business license in Costa Rica nothing more. In no way does it guarantee your post-up funds or any winnings from them.

wil,
yes I never thought they were claiming to be 100% secured by the government or anything. Books that claim to be insured- unless they can prove it to people at a site like this are highly suspect.

this book is not claiming to be insured. i suppose for a newbie to the offshore world the"fully licensed and regulated by the governemnt of Costa Rica" could be taken the wrong way.

to me it just means they are on the up and up in Costa Rica and are complying with local laws. but that does not have much to do with whether they can make money and be able to pay everyone later on.

"Fully licensed and regulated by the government of Costa Rica." is for Quakers.

stick with Hollywood.

"Hollywood International Sportsbook & Casino, situated in San Jose, Costa Rica, is a legal, licensed and bonded sportsbook that accepts wagers from clients in the United States..."

they are bonded just like betpanam

they sent me an email as well.
I am going to contact them to find out more. And Newbie, if you want one a contract for your business to operate here, I can get you one. The paper that you posted here states: they paid their yearly taxes. Nice to know. So do most other books.

Can you do some promos and marketing for other books too or just for those two? And how much do you charge?
Are there Town cars in Nicaragua that you know of?

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

The so-called licenses were for last year only. Everybody is back to the unregulated days of the past. The CR politicians greed keeps them from deciding on a taxing policy.

(not that a license would matter anyway)

SBG is not in the Mercedes Building. They are located in Zaret freezone in Alajuela, close to the airport.
