Willie, I'll be lining up a variety of small plays on some prohibitive favorite type spreads for the Panthers like that. If this game gets out of hand for the Broncos, we could very well see the same result as two years ago. I find the amount of talk of the vaunted Denver defense almost laughable at this point. I would give it credence if the Carolina defense was inferior, but it's far from it. The Panther have an excellent defense and will be playing a very average Broncos offense. However, the other side of the coin is not the case. The Broncos defense is going to have their hands full. And as I mentioned a couple of times in other posts, the Broncos faced most of their toughest competition at home, where they have a decided advantage. They had two tough road games. One in KC, which they won early in the season. The other was in Pittsburgh, in which they were embarrassed when they gave up 24 unanswered points after taking an early lead and were shutout in the 2nd half. Their playoff path was much easier than Carolina's, who played two of the top defenses in the league in Seattle and Arizona. Denver on the other hand got to play a Pittsburgh team with gimpy Roethlisberger a no Antonio Brown (and the Bronocs didn't exactly roll them). Yes, they played an outstanding game against NE, no one is taking anything away from them on that, but it seems the Denver fans are putting an awful lot of weight on that one game (they seem almost hypocritical when they ask who did the Panthers play). I guarantee you, given the choice, anyone would have loved to have played the Broncos playoff schedule instead of the Panthers.
And yet all we get from ryanphan is a silly emoticon. Is that all you've got?
