I'm willing to bet if you ply TTinCo with enough "flirtinis" he'd do the deed.

Seriously, I didn't know X was gone and thought maybe something had been posted when I was on my vacation last month. Didn't mean to stir up the hornet's nest.

Two classy posts from TheRightSide in this thread and I concur with them wholeheartedly.

Rick,
Hope you got my email I sent yesterday and am anxious to hear your thoughts.

Yes, she is a cool person.

Agreed, had a fun time hanging out with X and a couple others at the August bash. Hopefully she will come to the one this year

So the rumor she married Journeyman is false.

Hey X,

Sorry to see you go. I hope you'll still post from time to time in politics. I wish you'd have at least made an official statement about your leaving, but I can respect that you have reasons that might be personal. Take care and hope to see you posting some time again.

I'm pretty sure she'll be around, just not on a daily basis. Found greener pastures and new opportunities to chase (Both out of this industry)

Who can blame her?

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

I apologise if anyone feels slighted by my lack of a parting post ... to be honest, I had a lot of mixed feelings about leaving, and thought a parting post might be too much for me at the time. My reasons for leaving were largely pragmatic - the US gov'ts attack on the industry, combined with their attack on your currency, made the prospect of working in this business in the near- to mid-term rather bleak for me. Plus it's nice to be getting out of the house every day again. :)

I loved working here - especially organising the Bash (which I so far plan to attend again this year) - and I miss the banter in the BR with everyone. This was a pretty great crew to work with, for sure.

As for the future, at the moment I'm taking a rapid-fire post-grad in internet marketing, but am now reconsidering working in business at all. I'm thinking I could go back to school, change direction completely - I'm giving nursing some pretty serious consideration. We'll see.

Darryl, I will most certainly still be around in poli. I've been lurking there pretty well every day since I left. The SELL! thread is a must-read every morning and night.

Also ...

Go Ron Paul!

Good to see you post X. I was wondering why I never saw you in the Poli forum anymore. Good Luck with whatever you choose to do.
