Does this seem right to anyone? It's about a ticket I got today...

Didn't notice my registration was expired. I know it's ultimately not my fault for paying close enough attention but I had it written down as needing to be renewed on 9/24/08.

The reason? I paid for a year's worth of registration on 9/24/07. The problem is that the year I paid for somehow only went until 8/31/08.

Now I know I have to pay the ticket or whatever and I'm not saying I'm in the right here or anything, but how in the hell do they figure a year's worth of registration fees only covers me for 11 months? This seems ridiculous...

Do your tags say Aug or Sept? If Sept, you should be good to the end of the month.

If they say Aug, you're expired.

They definitely say August but the thing is I renewed for a year on September 24th 2007 so I figured my stickers would go to September. I just don't see how that works...

I recently waited until august 10th to register because my vehicle inspection sticker is for August, I figured I would align them, but they gave me a July sticker.

Same situation, but they asked me if I received a ticket, I believe they would have adjusted it or something to that effect.

think about all the people who get license plates for a new car in june and they have a birthday to renew in august....must be a bitch paying twice that quick...but that is how the license clock works...its mostly birthday relevant. so in all fairness u cheated on them for 30 days +/- last year..now u feel the blunt of it this time round;.....dont be late bud
