You are the second car in a turn lane turning left. The car across from you is turning right. You both are turning into a two-lane road.

But the car in front of you won't turn left until the car has fully turned right? The car has his right blinker on as well so it's no a surprise.

People first in line at the stop light and they don't go when it turns green because they are texting. Bad enough when your in a one lane but when it's a two lane and they are both up there texting.

You never know if they are turning - sometimes people dont turn right even though they had their blinker on.

I get more mad when cars drive slow, dont drive when they have a green light, or if we are both in a left turn lane (two sep. lanes) and they just basically drive straight and make the widest turn. I average about 1 horn honk per drive

Well yeah, it's a good point however you can usually tell by their speed and which way the driver is looking.

No doubt - I just get angry so much that Im trying to limit what annoys me.

Heard a comedian talking about honking at cars like 4 cars in front of you and it really hit home with me

By law you have to yield to the car turning right, unless you have a green arrow, then they have to yield.

No, by law, the car turning right has to turn right in the nearest lane to him. He can't turn into the inside lane. That's your lane.

Ugh that does suck

Lack of using turn signal is my driving pet peeve. Specifically in situations where it's obvious that using the signal would be helpful to your fellow motorists. It's just discourteous.

Yes on a 2 lane road you can both turn at the same time as you take the lane nearest you

Well yeah, it's a good point however you can usually tell by their speed and which way the driver is looking.

In addition to "maybe they are just cruising with their blinker on" what if the right turner encounters an obstacle during their turn (pedestrian or another object such as cat dog or child's ball suddenly enters the path of their car or another car pulls out from curb/driveway or something falls from the sky or one of their wheels flies off or another mechanical malfunction) so they have to stop mid-turn and you (having not waited till they completed their turn and you can make your turn without risking blocking the path of opposing traffic going straight) are now trapped directly in the path of oncoming traffic which includes a 16 year old texting as she is driving thus not paying attention who smashes into you causing your car to burst into flames and you die?

All because you weren't patient enough to wait another 2.4 seconds (or less) to make sure the turning driver would be able to successfully make their turn and leave you a clear path to turn that has no possibility of you winding up blocking the intersection/risking your life and the lives of others because the turning car had to stop suddenly.

Many Professional drivers wait for a turning vehicle to complete a turn. This is not uncommon at all.

What pisses me off completely is when people block the right hand turn lane at a stop light when there are other open lanes available to them that they could have merged over into so as to not be sitting their stupid ass in the right hand turn lane preventing others from turning. Sometimes I'll just go ahead and make the right turn from the middle lane (or the lane next to them) but thats pretty crazy so more often than I do that I'll pull up as close to the back of their car as I can get, roll my window down and blast a slowed down version ("pitch bent" or "screwed") version of

I have no idea why am not already dead.

I'd understand perfectly if someone were to shoot me for this...reaction to oblivious discourteous brain of a Beet having morons blocking the turn lane.

Its just a huge "pet peeve" of mine. It totally drives me crazy.

Driving slow in the left lane on a highway has to be my #1 peeve. I love the dude who is going 2 miles over the speed limit and he thinks he's driving fast...so it's his right to be in the "fast lane".

You guys would hate driving down the strip in Vegas on the weekend lol.

All of the above happen constantly, every light or stop sign.

Or you get those people who stop right in the middle of the street once the Bellagio fountains or Mirage volcano start up. Or those riding in the ruight hand lane, when the lane has signs saying for "Right Turn Only" for over 100 yards, and you are trying to turn right. But, as you get to the light, the retards finally realize its a right turn only lane and refuse to turn right when you have the green right turn arrow, and they are always first in line, and have dozens of cars behind them.

Morons all converge in Vegas and always decide to drive down the strip all at once.

They usually have California plates... drivers beware!

I took the advice of Adam Carolla and run left turn arrow red lights all the time and my life has improved significantly!
