Obviously this is a question for those who have played online casinos.

My nephew sometimes plays blackjack live and online, and he is the second person that has told me that playing online, the dealer doesn't bust nearly as much as playing live.

I know many will say "Don't play blackjack online" but this is a question out of curiosity for those who have played both enough to tell....(<)<

Unless you have studies of actual numbers on online BJ, the answer will be totally unreliable

Well considering that online BJ is rigged it makes sense that they wont bust as much online.

If it were a fair game I dont see any mathematical reason why there would be a difference.

^^^How do you know this to be true^^^

Bold part is how I would think it is or should be if not I can't see the reason for it not to be :think2:

Years ago, before Neteller pulled out of the US market, and I played upwards of a million hands of blackjack while online bonus whoring, I'd say that there were major online software makers that were reputable and you could trust to deal a fair game. A few names: Cryptologic, Webdollar, MicroGaming.

I've played some blackjack on other sites in the last few years (5dimes, absolute poker before it died) and I don't trust them - but I wouldn't say I played enough to have statistical proof. I asked Absolute more than once for my blackjack logs, and they would never give them to me, which made me suspicious.

I have played blackjack at 5dimes and youwager recently. They both use the same software. It feels like in the last year they have absolutely cranked up the difficulty.

I have copied and pasted 200 hands and the dealer only goes bust 16% of the times. That's a small sample size. One thing that never fails is that the dealer will get a 21 or blackjack and then the next hand will be 21 or blackjack again. This happens more than half the times when they get 21.

Heritage is another place that was ok but they screwed things up. Now they won't even display the hand history. Anyone serious about playing blackjack will not want to play there. They also removed the surrender option.

Being the dealer will bust about 29 percent of the time, a 200 hand period of a 16 percent rate is not that crazy
