Nothing wrong with the way the Steelers play.
Hard and honest.
That hit on Moore was there to be had. Good shot.
The pussification of the NFL. That was not dirty. Moore had every chance to get out of bounds and avoid the hit
Moore was looking downfield and had just thrown the ball when the defender hit him in the jaw. He didn't even have the chance to duck.
Look, I'm all for tough, physical football, but headhunting just isn't cool anymore with what is known about CTE and football-related brain
injuries.
"But it's always been done this way," is always a terrible justification.I'm not a Steelers fan, I loved the hit , not even a penalty for the first 75+ years of professional football
"But it's always been done this way," is always a terrible justification.
The number of things in the history of civilisation that were done for a long time but then people got smarter is endless. Society evolves, and gets better (in the long run). Think: childhood labor laws, slavery, calling black people negroes and/or colored, age of consent to marry, women as property...
Definition of targeting imho, opinions are varying and that's all I have to say on it.
