Does Oakland look suckerish tonight?

Vegas tourney, Oakland only -1 and they've been smashing and probably score 80+ points more than any other team in the country. ODU plays legit defense and I personally think they win tonight. My gut says this is a classic sucker play on Oakland but at the same time I hate betting against high powered offensive teams because they can come back quick if they're down (like BYU yesterday).

Serves ODU no purpose to play this game at Oakland's speed. Oakland only won 1 game where they scored less than 70 points. Another interesting note.....Oakland only played 3 games where they scored in the 70's all season. It was either more than 80 or less than 70. The only way this game goes high pace is if Oakland gets out early to a big lead. I've said all season that ODU was much better than their record indicated. The thing is if they do have to run and shoot.....they can shoot well. It's just not their style.

Should be a great chess game....

If Felder makes himself eligible for the NBA draft he is currently being projected as a late first round or early second round pick. whaaat?! he still dominated against the top tier teams!! it doesnt matter who he played honestly... i dont know i guess im just too much of a fan. ive watched damn near every single oakland game and you cant sit here and tell me felder isnt great and plays similar to CP3.. you must not watch basketball or understand the art form. im sure professional officials have said the same. im not saying felder will sustain the same amount of success chris has in the NBA but you can fairly compare them based on style of play. of course he has been told he's too short but im sure CP3, muggsy bouges, nate robinson were told that too.. it'll be hard for felder to market himself as well CP3 did being at a school like oakland but if he does it right he can be the next hype in the league. kid is great.

He is terrific but you're comparing him to one of the best point guards in the NBA. He didn't make the first, second or third All American teams this year ... behind Hield, Ulis, Brogdon, Dunn, Allen, Murray etc. I hope he makes it in the NBA.

This is what I was looking at all day.

Oakland has only played in a handful of games that went under that 145 this season.. I think it's 5

Plus I don't want to compare ODU's defense to Virginia's which held Oakland to 58 points, so I'm leaning to the Over ...

thats the dumbest shit ive ever heard.. of course its about talent.. but you're retarded if you think its not also about being marketable.. youre blinded and also forgetting this is a multi billion dollar business.. what do you think the draft is?? its a market where teams shop for players. being marketable plays into it if you are talking about getting next level pay and endorsements etc. (a good prestigious school and constant ESPN time would benefit that) you could be a good basketball player but if companies like adidas or nike doesnt think youre marketable then you wont get approached about endorsements! simple as that.

Whether Felder is the next Paul or not it doesn't matter cuz his team is about to go down, ODU has been able to stifle this powerful offense. Half time adjustments perhaps? We shall see, should be good 2H.
