Does money come any easier in baseball than fading the cubs?

No such thing as a jinx. If you believe that then stop betting.

hahah cubs you got me today but tomm a new day you still a below par scrub team with a top payroll enjoy your win and travel to pittburgh to a team that owned you even when the sucked....tomm a new day but can't deny that was my brutal beat of the year but i can take it like a man.

It was a figure of speech. Don't count ur chics before they hatched

I was over in my thread discussing the idea............sorta kicking around fading some of the have nots.

Good way to make money as well. if you feel their bottom of the barrel they will make you some money. Yea bad beat today but with cubs see i only paid -107 juice on the loss. Cubs you wont pay much juice and also catch dog money in the process. Havent won 3 in a row all year so bound to lose the next game or the one after based on the season progession so far.

bol.

Washington backers definitely suffered the nastiest beat of the year in MLB tonight.

Cubs now sitting at 42-60.

Just now actually got their 1st 3 game win streak of the season after this long but im not convinced at all the tide has turned. They played the Houston Astros that is a far worse ball club (believe it or not) then the cubs. The Astros had many many chances to win all 3 games but failed to knock runners in. I expect once they get back to real competitive play they will be overvalued again (almost lost as -175 faves today:scared1:) and will get pounded by the public and fall flat on their faces again.

In the meantime cubs enjoy that series (and streak) while you can cause wins don't come any easier than the Houston (we can't hit in scoring position) Astros.

Cubs seem to have most of their act in order now - definitely not a great team but no longer a team to instinctively fade.

Ha i find that post even funnier now.

Cubs just lost 2games in a row in Millwaukee (only scoring 2 runs in 2 games easily could have be back to back shutouts without the Aramis Ramirez 1st inning 2 run homer in the 1st inning) following the series with the Houston Astros already surrendering the series to them looking just like the same team they were when they play anybody else other than Houston.

42-62 (20 GAMES UNDER .500 while catching great value alot and their not a "instinctively fade".lol)

Currently on a 18 inning scoreless streak at the moment.

Why i did have a brain fart and took em yesterday thinking 1 or the chicago teams would win as a dog (idiot)....i sure double down against them tonight to even it out and will be on the brew crew tomm in the day game with Marcum on the bump.

P.S this is a personal blog for my records so i can look back and reflect on this thread. Maybe one day they win it all and i look up this thread and laugh at how bad they use to be but at same time it might help somebody realize that betting the cubs is bad for business overall at the moment.

If you faded the cubs every game at 100 a game i doubt you would even be up much because of the steep juice

Dont recall ever laying -185 cept a few times (like when played the yanks and phils) and yes im up just wished i created a record of it and had one account specifically for this but now its too late.......cubs have been favorites alot this year and ive won as a dog so im clearly up i can say that but play them if you like ill keep fading.

Oddsmakers are catching up to them thou and seeing them as losers now.

I know man. Wish i can do more about it, but there are a lot of FAKE ASS CUBS fans around here too. Prime example was when my boys won the Series in 2005. There were definitely some "fake" fans who jumped to the South Side and all of a sudden started claiming they are White Sox fans. Get the F outta here......we don't want you yuppies anyway!

Let me know the next time you're in Chicago....we can meet up for a beer.

Sounds good last time i was up there was about 2 weeks ago and i went to 2 cubs games vs Marlins then that Monday vs Phils where Halladay had that heat exhaustion.....i did have fun and was actually surprised they won the game Monday. Debated all day on going to the Sunday night game tonight but decided against it didn't feel like sitting in the heat and driving back from STL after the game (about a 1.5-2hr drive for me).

Yea next time im in town sounds like a plan. Who you got tonight?

Money seems to be headed toward the Under, but I'm not sure why. I thought that the game would be rated at 8.5 with money moving Over.

Good luck on the Over - hope we cash!
